1957 Cadillac Series 62 Convertible with 365 V8 Motor

This precious car was bought through us in late 2012, imported and matriculated it by 2013 in Switzerland as a historical car (very tough to get Swiss Veteran historical car immatriculation). According to our philosophy, we accomplished with this beautiful 1957 Cadillac S62 Convertible intensive road tests and had to learn under pain: prestigous and highly decorated collector cars should not go on the raod again! Further on, many minor and bigger technical problems showed up as well as not easy to detect items, resulting from not driving the car reglularly. A good technical repair under Swiss quality control does need an exhaustive amount of time and is a very big investment. Until we shall have it on our wished level, we certainly shall use all of the 2019. Our buying and restoration costs passed in the meantime well over the incredible amount of CHF 175'000.-.
